So...

We decided to start from scratch on the album! Just kidding, but we did start from scratch on the first single, "Strange Town." We actually got a little over-ambitious and didn't have time to do the vocals...but the rest of it is done, and it's finally turned into the single I knew it could be!

Anway, I'm hoping to do the vocals and a few last touch ups in one more session, and then it's on to the aesthetics of the record for the most part...

NEW MUSIC SOON, I PROMISE! (and we're coming up on college football..yes!)

Wishing everyone the very best,

MAL

Hey,

Remember when I said we had touched on all of the songs? I lied. I wrote a fourteenth track for the album called "Blue-Eyed Something." In fact, I wrote it yesterday at about 4:30 in Kentucky, and we were recording it by about 7 in Indiana. Anyway, it came out very well...We're giving it a pretty prime position in the track listing.

Anyway, I'm about to get to writing some commentary on the new record for the site. Stay in touch!

Well, I can now say we've at least done intial recording on all of the album's 13 tracks finishing up last night with "Tell Me a Story." Over 47 minutes of brand new TB music for ya! We've still got some touch ups and mising issues, and I want to re-record about about half of "Strange Town."

In other news, I had to sleep over at Ryan's following the recording session due to some weather/electricity issues in the area.

Finally, the inside part of Taco Bell closes much earlier than we thought it did.

So, we can definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel for this new CD...and "Nero," from Burning Through Nowhere is still a main stay on the Progressive Rock and Folk Rock charts at Amazon. Soon we'll be a two album band!!!

Drop us a line guys!

Well Hello!

We're winding down on the recording phase of the new CD. Just one full song left to go , and a few things to fix. The other night we recorded "Sweet Apathy." Music by Mr. Ryan Renn, and I wrote the lyrics while I was on vacation. Anyway, everything is going fairly smoothly and there is not much else to report. And that's a good thing right now as far as I'm concerned.

We tried to bring in our uncle Dan to work on a few tracks. Hasn't worked out yet, and I'm not sure if it will. He heads back home to New York on Tuesday I think.

That's all for now....stay well guys!

It's been a while kids!

I had a fantastic trip to Destin, Florida, and even wrote some vacation inspired lyrics for some music that Ryan wrote. Our first foray into the world of co-writing...lol. I had forgoten how much fun a trip to the beach really is. Pigged out at some great restaurants. Got a little tan. Tube races in the pool. Life is good my friends.

Tonight we knocked out a pretty damn good version of our album opener..."Riot." Tough song to write, but not so bad to record save for some serious microphone difficulties.

We've only got two songs left to work on before we start with fine tuning and mixing and such.

See you soon!
